I enjoyed reading this book, although it did take me some time to get into the story. I found the characters a bit unlikeable and a little annoying. Jamie and Victoria often made choices that did not make sense to me that left me wondering why. The plot was quite different and suspenseful. Some unexpected twists left me surprised. I recommend reading The Guest House if you enjoy reading a fast-paced mystery.
