It’s a gripping and suspenseful psychological thriller that will keep you engrossed from beginning to end. The pacing is excellent and engaging, with the suspense steadily building as the plot unfolds. It’s filled with unexpected twists and turns that kept me reading to uncover the truth.

Chloe as a character was enjoyable, but I would have liked to see her take a more rational approach to her suspicions. Regardless of whether she was right or wrong, it appeared that she jumped to conclusions without gathering substantial evidence or sharing her concerns with anyone.

With its well-crafted plot, complex characters, and relentless suspense, this book kept me guessing and suspicious until the very end. I highly recommend adding it to your reading list while I eagerly await Jessica Payne’s next book.
