I really enjoyed reading this story and it captured my interest from the very first page. The story begins with the abduction of the main character Amelie and her husband Ned. It was fun to try and figure out why it was happening, who the abductors were, and why they were being taken.

I enjoyed the flashbacks to the past because it added more context to the story. It was interesting to get more insight into Amelie.

The book is full of suspense, twists, and the ending is totally shocking. I definitely recommend adding The Prisoner to your reading list.
