I couldn’t put this book down! From the very first page, I was completely hooked by the twists and turns that kept me guessing until the end. Detective Margot Phalen is such a compelling character, and her journey to solve the case while confronting her haunting family history added a chilling and emotional depth to the story.

The suspense was masterfully crafted, and the connection to her father’s crimes made the stakes feel so real and personal. The writing pulled me in, and every chapter left me wanting more.

If you love fast-paced mysteries with complex characters and plenty of surprises, I 100% recommend this book. I’m already counting down the days until the next one in the series!
