    Flower at Dusk

I took this photo during the golden hour. The soft light adds an ethereal feeling to the mood in this shot.

    Mysterious

I was interested by the plant’s silhouette created by the back light. I think that when you leave some details to the imagination, it adds a bit of mystery to the shot.

    Lost

I was testing out settings on my camera when I took this photo. It actually turned out a bit different than I thought it would. I kind of like how some parts of the flowers are sort of disappearing or ghosting in the background. It adds to the lost/ethereal feeling in this shot.

    Pensive

I took this photo of my dog when we went on a hike.  I was interested by her pensive demeanor. It appears that something seems to have caught her attention. I wish I knew what it was. It could have been a leaf, a squirrel or pretty much anything.

    Make a Wish

Part of the fun in life is believing in magic/superstitions. From wishing on a shooting star, to finding a four-leaf clover for good luck, to making a wish and blowing on dandelion fluff.  Magic is everywhere, you just need to be open to it. So, do you believe in magic?

    Nature’s Glow

Nature is an interesting subject to photograph. It’s something that you see each and every day but yet you may not pay much attention to it. I took this photo near the time the sun was setting. I was drawn to the way the sun created a glow in the tree branches.

    Nature’s Spotlight

I took this photo near the time the sun was setting in Toronto. I was captivated by the light. It looked like a spotlight shining attention on the flower.

    Branches

I took this photo at a park in Toronto. I was interested by the leaves that were still clinging to life on the tree branches.

    The Beauty in Nature

I took my dog for a hike on Christmas Day. I captured this shot as we were walking through the park. I think dog’s have the right idea. Always take time to stop and smell the roses. There are so many amazing things created in nature and so much beauty. Taking a page from my dog’s perspective, I’ve…

    Swirl

I took this photo in the summer in Toronto. I enjoy taking photos of things I see on a regular basis. It’s good to test out different angles and perspectives of a subject. It helps you see the subject in a new way and appreciate it more.

    Nature’s Beauty

I love taking photographs of nature. It’s so beautiful, yet we sometimes don’t take the time to appreciate it. It’s amazing how you can see something everyday and take it for granted that it will always be there.
