Hope

Life is about choices. There are so many questions and options in life that it can be hard to know what the right choice is. I took this photo because the candles remind me of hope. As we make decisions, we always hope that we are making the right one.

Run

I saw a dog running on the beach and he looked so happy. It’s the little things in life that generally cause the most happiness.

I took this photograph last summer. I’m not so patiently waiting for the return of summer and all the fun that it brings. I was drawn to the corn because of the contrast between the vibrant, youthful colour and its life stage.

Dancing at Dusk

I took this photo at dusk. I was interested by the silhouette of the plants dancing in the wind.

Window with a View

I took this photo when I was touring a building in Spain. I was drawn to the beautiful view. It reminds me of a painting on a dark wall.

Iced

I was interested by the deserted feeling of the ice covered pond. I took this photo at dusk and made some adjustments in Photoshop to improve the tone.

I took this photo in Spain. I chose not to make any adjustments in Photoshop because I felt that the tones turned out how I wanted them to. Whenever I see leaves or petals, I’m tempted to reach out and touch them.

Fireball

I was taking a photo of the sun setting through some trees. The sun reminded me of a giant fireball in the sky.
