Pensive

I met this friendly cat when I was in Spain. I was drawn to the pensive, thoughtful look on her face. I love animals and it’s amazing how human their emotions are.
-
Tempting

I took this photo in Spain. I chose not to make any adjustments in Photoshop because I felt that the tones turned out how I wanted them to. Whenever I see leaves or petals, I’m tempted to reach out and touch them.
-
Fireball

I was taking a photo of the sun setting through some trees. The sun reminded me of a giant fireball in the sky.
-
Delicate

I took this photo last year when I was in Spain. I was drawn to the flower’s delicate, soft nature.
-
Winter Sunset

I was drawn to the silhouette of the petal less flower against the sunset. There’s beauty in the simple things in life.
-
Abandoned

I drawn to the mood of the leaves. They felt abandoned sitting on the ground. I reduced the saturation to add to the lonely feeling in the photo.
-
Shadow Lines

I was interested by the patterns that the shadows created. I wanted the focal point to be on them and felt that the photo would be more interesting in black & white.
-
Delicate Flower

Flowers are beautiful, yet they also exude a delicate strength. I love taking photos of flowers because of their complexity.
-
Eerie Beauty

I was interested by the eerie reflection in my car mirror. I made some tweaks in Photoshop and rotated the image to view it from a different perspective. Beauty can be found in so many forms and sometimes the beauty that’s different can be more interesting.
-
Vibrant

I was drawn to the vibrancy of the leaves. There is a certain energy to them making them feel more alive.
