I took photographs of white and yellow tulips in Toronto. Flowers are beautiful but possess a quiet strength. It’s amazing how something so delicate can withstand so much.

A closer look at flowers
I took macro (close up) photographs of flowers during my trip. It’s amazing how changing your perspective can really alter the feeling of a photograph and make it more interesting. I really enjoy taking photos of flowers because they look pretty and delicate but possess power and strength.

Spring Flowers
I saw a bouquet of flowers next to the road. I really liked the contrast between the strength of the cold, hard cement and the fragile, delicate beauty of the flowers. I took this photo in colour to highlight the difference between these two subjects.
