Prague is a beautiful city with great old architecture. Here are some photos that I took during my visit.
When I was in Prague, I visited Charles Bridge. It’s a famous, iconic bridge founded by King Charles IV. There was a jazz band playing on the bridge and I stopped to watch which was really fun. It’s also nice to walk around the bridge and see the all of the art and jewelry onContinue reading “Charles Bridge in Prague”
I took macro (close up) photographs of flowers during my trip. It’s amazing how changing your perspective can really alter the feeling of a photograph and make it more interesting. I really enjoy taking photos of flowers because they look pretty and delicate but possess power and strength.
While walking around the Tulip Festival, I noticed some children running through the paths. They were so happy and free. It was such a sweet, innocent and pure moment.
Old Prague is beautiful. It’s great to walk around, site-see and enjoy the architecture. I really like the effect when you can tell something or someone is in motion. I took some shots of moving objects and people. The image on the left is of tourists wandering around old Prague. The image on theContinue reading “Prague at night”
The Tulip Festival in Noordoostpolder, Holland is breathtaking. You are surrounded by so much beauty that it’s surreal and feels like a fairytale. It’s incredible to see all of the different types of tulips. This was one of my favourite sites in Holland. If you’re visiting during Spring, I recommend stopping by.
I went on a trip last week and visited Prague, Stockholm and Amsterdam. They are such beautiful cities and it was a great experience. I was really impressed with older architecture and how different each city was. I took lots of photographs and willContinue reading “View from a Plane”
I enjoy taking photos of shadows because they are interesting and unique. I love the shapes and outlines that the shadows create. I saw a brick wall with a tree casting shadows on it. It looked like the tree was growing out of the wall and I thought that this would make an interesting photo.Continue reading “Shadows on Brick Wall”
I wanted the focus of this photo to be the view through the bars on the door. I took the shot on a slight angle and converted the image to black & white. I also adjusted the levels for more contrast.
I have been taking photographs from a close perspective lately. I saw a broken fence and felt that this would make an interesting photograph. I chose to shoot from a close viewpoint because I wanted the focus of the photo to be the splintered wood. I converted the image to black & white to placeContinue reading “Broken Wooden Fence”
