Light & Webs

I took this photo as the sun was setting in Toronto. It’s amazing how much beauty there is in the smallest things that we see each and every day.

Make a Wish

Taking the first steps towards making a dream a reality can be the scariest steps we take.

Twilight

I love sunsets. It’s one of the best times during the day to take photos. The light during this time is pure magic. When I took this photo, I was inspired by the light reflected in the water and the rays of light.

I converted this photo of leaves into black & white because I felt it added a more surreal, dreamy quality to it.

Spooky Shadows

I took this photo because I was interested by the shadow of a tree. I intentionally kept a slight blur on the photo to add to the eerie vibe.

Shining Light

I was drawn to the light shining on the tree branches. It reminds me of a spotlight when an actor is on stage.

Soft Tulip

I took this photo last year when I was visiting Holland. Tulips are so soft and beautiful.

Standing Tall

I was interested by the proud looking trees standing together at the side of the road.

I took this photograph last summer. I’m not so patiently waiting for the return of summer and all the fun that it brings. I was drawn to the corn because of the contrast between the vibrant, youthful colour and its life stage.

Blur

I was pulling focus when I was taking photos last summer. In this photograph I was trying to make the background blurry with the focus on the twigs in the bottom left area. I find that the almost entirely blurred photograph kind of works better than with more elements in focus.

Rustic

I was interested by the veins in the leaf. I reduced the saturation in this photo because I wanted it to be a bit murky.
